Penny Condrey is the Project Assistant for SEELLS. She brings more than 20 years experience in the early childhood field, previously working as a child care center director, trainer for child care staff, and mentor to family child care providers in the Petersburg area. She currently serves as a rater with Virginia’s Quality Rating and Improvement System, a state-wide program designating a star rating to child care facilities so that parents can recognize and choose quality care and child care facilities can strive to earn higher star ratings. Penny’s work with the SEELLS grant allows many opportunities to link teachers, schools, and families in enriching early learning environments for children.
Penny has a bachelor’s degree in Child Development from Virginia Tech. She has recently enrolled in the Master’s of Education program in Early Childhood Special Education at VCU.
